Academy Brief
Upcoming AMA with Isomer Capital's Chris Wade and new recording of fund modelling masterclass available
Over the past couple of weeks inside the Academy, it’s been great to see the inaugural Fund Modelling Cohort take shape. We’re now heading into week four of the twelve-week journey, and the level of engagement, questions, and model depth has been genuinely energising. It’s a good reminder that fund modelling is less about templates and more about how you think through trade-offs, sequencing, and second-order effects.
Alongside the cohort, we recently shared the recording of our latest masterclass, a revamped version of our most-watched session to date, Fund Modelling in VC: Essential Building Blocks. It reflects how our thinking has evolved and tightens the core mechanics that keep showing up across real funds.
We’ve also announced an upcoming AMA with Chris Wade from Isomer Capital.
Looking ahead, our next live masterclass on Assumption Sheet Construction takes place on February 18th, building directly on the mechanics covered in Essential Building Blocks. We also have another masterclass scheduled for early March, which we’ll announce in more detail next week.
If you’re interested in joining a future edition of the cohort, or have questions you’d like covered next time around, feel free to drop a comment on this post.
