We’re thrilled to announce that nominations for the EUVC Awards 2025 are officially open! From today until March 1st, you have the chance to nominate the champions of European venture across six marquee categories.
🧑⚖️ The judging process
The nomination and selection process is managed by Isomer Capital and all data is treated confidentially and only shared with the judging committee. The finalists and ultimate winners are picked exclusively by our esteemed judging panel, which consists of Europe’s leading LPs:

Honoring the tried and true champions and stewards of our industry, this accolade recognizes a firm from a fully holistic view, including pure financial performance and portfolio performance as well as innovation, impact on the ecosystem, diversity, transparency, and fairness as well as team and culture.

2024 finalists: Creandum, Notion Capital, Elaia Partners, IQ Capital
Coming in as a new award category this year, this accolade recognizes our industry’s emerging managers by the same criteria as firm of the year, but focusing on firms on fund I - III. Evaluation is thus with a holistic view, including pure financial and portfolio performance as well as innovation, impact on the ecosystem, diversity, transparency and fairness as well as team and culture.

Honoring the true newcomers, this award goes to a fund that has had its first close in 2024, recognizing their remarkable success in bringing something new and innovative to the European Venture market while building traction around their fund and vision.

2024 finalists: Common Magic, Blume Equity, Underline Ventures
Another new addition to the awards this year, this category honors a firm that has demonstrated exceptional positive impact through their investments and practices alongside outstanding financial performance. Evaluation is based on a mix of impact performance, impact practice, influence on industry practices, diversity, governance, and fairness.

This category recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions made in the European VC ecosystem that has impacted our practices positively and helped usher in positive changes in our industry.

2024 winner: WVC:E
2024 finalist: Travis Pittman & TourRadar
Honoring the firm that has had a company that has exited and created the most value back to the VC and therefore back to the European Venture ecosystem. This is about venture capital returns as opposed to “the biggest exit” and will also encompass strategic aspects of the exit such as timing in relation to market conditions and exit strategy employed.

Celebrating a lifetime of achievement in European Venture, this award is for those who have shaped the industry through their investments, contributions, and thought leadership over 10+ years. Nominations for this award are made exclusively by judging panel.
