Turkey - how you can help
Türkiye is going through one of the worst disasters in human history. Every single penny counts and makes a big difference in the lives of those affected.
We hope you don't mind us reaching out today as friends and colleagues.
We have all seen the destruction the earthquake has caused Turkey and we’re sure you’re also watching the news in despair.
Every single penny counts and makes a big difference in the lives of those affected.
Please find below three links provided by our good friend Enis Hulli from 500 EE where you can give your support.
Also, Monik Pham from Pact has shared the below that I want to reshare with you.
My family is from Malatya and Kahramanmaras and we have friends and family that are still stuck in Gaziantep (the place where my dad grew up and where I have spent many summers as a child).
The country is in a state of chaos right now which is why my cousin, Suna Tiskaya, is heading to Turkey with a team on Friday to provide on the ground support including setting up camps and providing resources for those who are displaced. We are raising funds for her to take with her to provide immediate support. Suna is a lawyer based in London and is going with other members of our local community. If you can spare anything to help our efforts, please donate here. Every £ counts. We think this is a faster way to provide support. Alternatively you can donate to Ahbab which is providing shelter and volunteers on the ground.
Thank you so much.
