EUVC is Europe’s venture platform - the place where Founding Partners of Europe’s top venture capital funds connect. We started more than five years ago with a simple idea: tell the untold stories of venture capital in Europe through podcasts and other newsletters.
Since then, we’ve grown into a platform that reaches tens of thousands of investors across the continent, through media, events, and education.
Today, we’re recognised as the voice of European venture capital. Tomorrow, our vision is even bigger: to build a broader platform for European tech.
The Role
This role sits at the center of how EUVC operates day-to-day.
As we scale, the biggest constraint is no longer ideas or opportunities, it’s how well we execute internally. This role exists to fix that.
You’ll take ownership of EUVC’s internal operations, systems, and workflows. Your job is to make sure things happen reliably, without founders needing to be involved in every step.
This is not a support role. It’s a system-building role.

Your role is to make all of that happen.
Core Responsibilities
Own internal operations: Take responsibility for day-to-day operational processes across the company, ensuring things run smoothly without constant founder involvement
Build and improve systems: Turn recurring tasks into repeatable workflows, templates, and documentation. Reduce chaos and increase clarity
Hiring & onboarding: Help structure hiring processes, coordinate interviews, and ensure smooth onboarding for new team members
Contracts & admin systems: Manage contracts, invoices, and internal tools, ensuring everything is organised, tracked, and reliable
Tool stack ownership: Keep our systems (Notion, CRM, email, etc.) clean, organised, and useful for the team
Internal coordination: Ensure the team is aligned on priorities, timelines, and responsibilities. Follow up where needed so nothing falls through the cracks
Founder leverage: Take operational work off the founders and ensure it doesn’t come back
Growth Path
Increased ownership: Take on broader responsibility across EUVC’s operations as you prove reliability and impact
System ownership: Move from executing tasks to owning and improving key internal systems
Autonomy: Become the person the team relies on to run operations without founder involvement
Scope expansion: Over time, work across more areas of the business (content, events, partnerships) as needed
What Success Looks Like (6-Month Impact)
Founders are out of the weeds: David and Andreas are no longer involved in day-to-day operational tasks like contracts, coordination, and tool management
Documented systems: Core workflows (hiring, onboarding, contracts, content coordination) are clearly documented and repeatable
Reliable execution: Things happen on time without chasing, and the team knows what to do
Operational clarity: Tools, processes, and responsibilities are structured and easy to follow
Less chaos, more speed: The company runs more smoothly and can move faster without adding complexity

Compensation
€18,000 – €26,000 annual gross, depending on experience and level of ownership
Participation in EUVC’s company-wide profit sharing
Location & Working Setup
This role is based in Portugal and requires regular in-person presence.
While parts of the EUVC team operate remotely, we are intentionally building a strong local core team, particularly across operations and content production.
