AI is reaching more employees, but operational transformation is still lagging.
Deloitte’s 2026 State of AI in the Enterprise found that workforce access to AI increased by 50% in one year, but only 34% of organisations are using AI to deeply transform their products, processes or business models.
REHAU offers a practical example of what it takes to close that gap. Within four months, the company reached 10% AI adoption and now automatically processes 94% of a previously high-friction invoice workflow.
That is why we’re bringing Nils Wagner, CEO of REHAU New Ventures, to a closed-door AMA on August 27.
Nils will share how REHAU identifies workflows worth automating, balances enterprise security with room for experimentation, builds adoption through internal education and shared examples and uses its venture unit to connect startups with internal teams.
In essence, we’ll look at what it takes for established organisations to move from isolated AI pilots to systems people actually use.
Read on for more details on the session, how to join the live conversation and further resources to support your AI rollout, including our recent episode with Nils.
Corporate AI AMA with Nils Wagner, REHAU New Ventures
This online session is designed for people responsible for making AI adoption work inside established organisations, including:
Corporate venture and innovation leaders
AI, data and digital transformation teams
Business and operations leaders identifying valuable workflows
Teams responsible for venture clienting, startup partnerships or procurement
Nils will take us through the three layers behind REHAU’s approach: REHAU AI Space for secure access to major LLMs and company data, the AI Academy for internal learning and adoption and the AI Factory for more complex workflows requiring specialist support.
Places are limited, with priority access for EUVC Academy members. Join us and bring your questions.
Further insights
These resources build on the AMA’s main question: how can large organisations turn AI and external innovation into something that delivers real value across the business?
They explore why enterprise AI often remains limited to individual use, how corporate venturing can bring building, partnering and investing together and how CVCs can use internal access, expertise and commercial reach to create a genuine advantage.
Watch next
In a recent EUVC episode, we spoke with Nils about how REHAU is scaling AI across a large industrial organisation.
He shares how the company is building secure infrastructure and internal capability, identifying valuable workflows, creating momentum and using venture clienting to work more effectively with startups.
