Aeon has closed an undisclosed seed extension co-led by Araya Ventures and acquired the core assets of German blood diagnostics platform Aware Health. Aeon says the extension takes total seed funding above $14m. Existing investors Concentric, GoHub Ventures, Kadmos Capital, Calm/Storm Ventures, N&V Capital and Bigwave Capital also participated.
From episodic scans to a longitudinal health record
A whole-body MRI provides a detailed but occasional snapshot. Aware adds recurring blood tests, regulated diagnostics infrastructure, live laboratory integrations and a network of more than 45 draw locations. Combining those measurements with Aeon’s imaging and genetic data gives its models a time series, allowing them to look for changes rather than interpret each check-up in isolation.
The acquisition also changes the commercial cadence. Aeon gains an established German operating base and a reason for customers to return between scans, while Aware’s platform becomes part of a broader preventive-health service. The integration challenge is therefore central: consented data transfer, repeat testing and a coherent clinical workflow will determine whether the deal creates a durable customer relationship rather than a wider menu of tests.
