€2.2m · Other round · HRtech · Munich, Germany
Munich-based Ahron has raised €2.2m in a funding round led by Cusp Capital. The financing also included superangels and HR-sector business angels, among them former Mercedes-Benz HR board member Sabine Kohleisen, according to Tech.eu’s original report. Ahron will use the capital to develop its product, particularly a central control layer for its AI agents, and to support international expansion.
Ahron is building an execution layer above companies’ existing HR software rather than asking customers to replace their systems of record. Its platform uses Celonis Process Intelligence to create a digital twin of workflows spanning tools such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP and ServiceNow. Ahron says that shared process context lets agents coordinate tasks including hiring-manager feedback, onboarding and payroll validation while companies define policies, approval points and audit trails centrally.
Governance is part of the integration problem
The commercial proposition is not simply that an agent can complete a single HR task. Enterprise employee processes cross several systems, and sensitive actions need consistent rules about what an agent may do, when a person must approve it and how the result is recorded. Ahron’s control layer is intended to make those constraints portable across the workflow. If it works as described, customers can add automation without creating separate policy logic inside each HR application.
That approach also makes deployment quality a central execution risk. Connecting fragmented data is useful only if the process model is accurate and the guardrails reflect local policies, works councils and data-protection requirements. Ahron says it can start with a flat-file proof of value before connecting production systems, giving customers a way to establish a baseline while security and procurement reviews continue.
Founded in 2025 by Carl Hoffmann and Rado Pavlov, Ahron says it has generated more than €1m in annual recurring revenue since the start of 2026 and secured customers in the US and Europe. Its company page names DHL and Celonis among the enterprises it works with. The funding will test whether that early traction can translate into repeatable deployments as the company expands internationally.
