Potsdam-based All About Accuracy has closed an undisclosed seven-figure Pre-Seed round backed by Campus Capital by STS Ventures, Brandenburg Kapital and ZOHO.VC, with angel investors participating through Gigahertz Venture and Superangels. The funding announcement says the capital will accelerate development of the company’s radio-based motion-sensing chips and expand early industrial and robotics partnerships.
Ground-truth movement data without cameras
All About Accuracy is a 2025 spin-out from the Leibniz Institute for High Performance Microelectronics. Its technology builds on more than fifteen years of semiconductor research and uses ultra-wideband radio signals to capture motion with millimetre-level precision. The company is targeting robot calibration, motion capture, simulation and the generation of physical data for AI systems.
The proposition is not another perception camera. Optical systems can be disrupted by occlusion, changing light, dust or reflections, while research-grade motion-capture setups can be expensive and difficult to move into factories. A compact radio-based sensing layer could provide continuous reference data across robots, wearables, tools and machines, helping developers measure what happened in the physical world rather than infer every movement from images.
Integration will determine whether the sensor scales
The transaction adviser’s report says the company will advance product development and initial pilot projects. Those pilots need to prove more than laboratory accuracy. Industrial users will test range, latency, interference, calibration effort and whether the hardware can be embedded economically into existing machines and workflows.
If one sensing architecture can supply reliable reference data across varied environments, All About Accuracy could become infrastructure for robotics developers rather than a component tied to one application. The Pre-Seed round buys time to turn research performance into manufacturable chips and repeatable integrations; evidence from pilots will show whether that bridge is commercially viable.
