Aniwa has raised more than €500,000 in financing that combines public and private capital with backing from insurance-sector investors. The Bétera-based company gives consumers and small businesses one place to store, review and manage insurance policies across web and mobile apps.
The company plans to invest in its platform and team and deepen partnerships with insurers and brokers. Aniwa says more than 1,200 users have registered for a product that organises policies, surfaces coverage information and sends renewal alerts.
A collaboration layer for a fragmented market
Aniwa is positioning itself as a complement to insurers and brokers rather than a replacement. Policyholders often hold cover across several providers, while the broker remains an important source of advice and service. A shared digital layer can reduce scattered PDFs, portals and renewal dates without forcing either side to abandon an existing relationship.
Distribution may depend as much on partner integrations and broker adoption as on direct consumer acquisition. If Aniwa can make policy data easier to access and keep the trusted intermediary in the workflow, it can improve engagement while creating a route into established insurance channels.
