€5.5m · Seed · Cybersecurity · Munich, Germany
Arcos, a Munich company combining sensor signals, video and other security infrastructure with software for incident handling, has raised a €5.5m seed round led by HTGF. Bayern Kapital, Pact, Haufe, Robin Capital and strategic angel investors also participated. The company will expand its German team and product portfolio before pursuing broader European growth, initially targeting critical-infrastructure operators.
Security operations need a shared incident picture
Critical-infrastructure sites already generate information through cameras, sensors and access systems, but those feeds can remain isolated when an incident unfolds. Arcos is building a software layer that combines the signals and supports a common response workflow. The customer benefit comes from turning installed hardware into a coordinated operating picture rather than adding another standalone monitoring screen.
Deployment quality will determine whether that coordination holds up under pressure. Integrating different vendors, site layouts and operating procedures makes each rollout demanding, while critical operators need dependable behaviour and clear escalation paths. Expanding the product and local team can make those integrations more repeatable, which is essential before the company can scale across European markets.
