€5.6m · Other round · Software · Málaga, Spain
Málaga-based Atomic One, which builds an AI operating layer for brands selling on Amazon, has closed €5.6m in financing with backing from Arcano Partners and private international investors. The company-sourced announcement says the capital will accelerate product development, broaden adoption among online retail brands and reinforce the team in Málaga.
Arcano participated through its Impacto Andalucía Innovación y Desarrollo SICC vehicle, adding €660k in the latest transaction and taking that vehicle’s total commitment to Atomic One to €2.5m. The announcement identifies the wider financing as a €5.6m round but does not assign a named venture stage, so the brief uses Tech.eu’s canonical Other classification.
From seller dashboards to coordinated execution
Amazon merchants typically manage advertising, pricing, inventory, fees and catalogue quality through separate tools and teams. Atomic One’s pitch is that these functions should run as one system. Its product site describes specialised agents for PPC, stock, listing quality, fee diagnosis, profitability and pricing, combined with a strategic adviser and a shared operating view.
The commercial mechanism is coordination. A pricing decision can lift sales while damaging contribution margin or exhausting stock; an advertising agent acting alone cannot see the full trade-off. If Atomic One can connect those signals and execute within agreed constraints, it can sell an operating outcome rather than another analytics seat. That also raises the standard for the product: customers need actions to be traceable, reversible and aligned with their own margin and inventory rules.
The company is already using customer results to support that proposition. In one company case study, Atomic One says a yoga and wellness seller reduced advertising cost of sales by 14 percentage points and increased net profit by 40% after catalogue rationalisation and coordinated PPC changes. This is company-reported evidence from one engagement, not a general performance benchmark, but it illustrates the kind of cross-functional outcome the platform is designed to deliver.
The funding therefore supports two linked tests. Atomic One must make its agents dependable across the messy edge cases of marketplace operations, while expanding distribution without turning each deployment into bespoke consultancy. The 13-person team reported at the announcement gives the company domain and engineering capacity, but the investment case ultimately depends on whether that operating knowledge can be encoded into repeatable software.
