PLN 10m · Seed · AI · Gdańsk, Poland
Gdańsk-based autoMEE has raised PLN 10m in a seed round led by Level2 Ventures, with a group of business angels also participating. The company said the capital will support product development, hiring, and marketing and sales as it expands in Poland. The round and its 30 September announcement date were reported by My Company Polska and confirmed by Level2 Ventures.
From monthly close to live operating data
autoMEE’s flowMEE platform is designed to automate the accounting work between an incoming document and a usable financial record. According to the company’s product site, it extracts and categorises document data, posts entries to a chart of accounts, reconciles them with bank statements, manages approval workflows and connects with accounting and ERP systems. Finance teams remain responsible for oversight, while unusual cases are flagged for review.
The new RZiS live module is intended to update a profit-and-loss statement as documents are booked and transactions reconciled, rather than waiting for a month-end close. My Company Polska reported that autoMEE had completed pilots with larger organisations and had begun broader sales to small and medium-sized businesses. The same report said more than 700 companies were using autoMEE through integrated accounting firms at the end of September, with the network adding 20–25 accounting firms a month. Those figures and the company’s target of more than PLN 7m in annual recurring revenue by year-end are company-supplied claims.
A distribution model tied to existing workflows
The commercial mechanism is not simply faster document reading. flowMEE sits above accounting and ERP systems already used by finance teams, while accounting firms can introduce it across client portfolios. That gives autoMEE a route to distribution without asking every customer to replace its core ledger. Poland’s KSeF e-invoicing system can also supply structured invoices as they are issued, shortening the path from source document to current management information.
The execution test is whether automation remains dependable when records are incomplete or transactions do not fit standard patterns. The company’s emphasis on audit trails, exception handling and human approval is therefore central to adoption, not a secondary control. If autoMEE can preserve that discipline as usage grows, the seed round can help it turn bookkeeping automation into a daily decision layer for smaller businesses rather than another isolated finance tool.
