$55m · Series D · Customised business products · Lisbon, Portugal
Bizay, a platform connecting businesses with customised packaging, printed materials and promotional products, has raised $55m in Series D funding. Existing investor Indico Capital Partners led the round, alongside Lince Capital, Cedrus and Banco Português de Fomento, according to Tech.eu. The company plans to expand in the US, acquire businesses in its fragmented market and develop AI across its catalogue, manufacturing processes and customer support.
Making fragmented production work as one network
A customised product order crosses several businesses before it reaches the customer: design, production and fulfilment all need to line up. Bizay’s opportunity is to organise that fragmented supply through a common platform. The broader industrial theme is that software can coordinate existing production capacity, giving smaller buyers access to a wider catalogue without managing each supplier themselves.
US expansion and acquisitions will test how transferable that coordination becomes. Buying distribution or production expertise can shorten entry into a market, but the operating gain depends on bringing orders onto shared processes. For Bizay, the valuable scale effect would be a denser supplier network and more dependable delivery, with less manual work for each additional order.
