€10.5m · Series A · Software · Brussels, Belgium
Chift has raised a €10.5m Series A led by BlackFin Capital Partners to expand its financial-connectivity platform across Europe and develop integrations for AI agents.
Existing investors Entourage, Shapers, Seeder Fund and Wallonie Entreprendre also participated. The Brussels company gives software providers one API for connecting their products to accounting, invoicing, payments, point-of-sale, e-commerce and property-management systems.
Chift says its platform now links more than 120 financial systems and is used by over 150 software companies connecting 50,000 businesses in 13 countries. The funding will support expansion across Spain, the UK, the Nordics, Germany and Italy, alongside an agentic layer designed to configure connections and act on financial data.
One API turns local fragmentation into distribution
Financial software vendors expanding across Europe encounter different accounting systems, standards and partners in each market. Rebuilding those links country by country slows product launches and creates a permanent maintenance burden. Chift’s unified API turns that fragmented work into shared infrastructure, letting customers add local coverage without maintaining every connector themselves.
The commercial leverage comes from distribution as much as engineering. Each additional system can open a customer’s product to another national software ecosystem, while each customer gives Chift more reason to maintain broad coverage. AI agents raise the reliability bar: if software is allowed to act on financial data, mapping, permissions and long-term connector quality become part of the product’s defensibility.
