€6m · Seed · AI · Borken, Germany
conmeet, a German software company building an AI-centred operating system for trades and construction businesses, has raised €6m in seed funding. Reimann Investors Venture Capital and Smedvig Ventures co-led the round. The company says the capital will support product development and team growth; Reimann Investors also says conmeet plans to expand across the DACH region.
One record from quote to payment
conmeet targets construction and trades companies with roughly 10 to 500 employees. Its cloud platform puts estimating, procurement, scheduling, site management, change orders, documents, controlling, banking and invoicing on a shared data foundation. In practice, an order can move from first customer contact through execution and payment without staff re-entering the same information across separate systems.
That shared record is the product’s commercial hinge. A change agreed on site can affect scheduling, project control and billing, so keeping it inside the order reduces the risk that operational knowledge remains in chat threads or reaches finance too late. conmeet says recurring tasks are already automated, while more autonomous workflows are planned within defined roles, approvals and budgets. The value of those AI features therefore depends on the platform becoming the place where the underlying project and financial data is maintained, rather than another disconnected tool.
From self-funding to DACH expansion
The founders say they started conmeet in mid-2023 and spent about two and a half years self-funding the product before launch. CEO Benedikt Kisner previously built IT services group netgo to more than 1,300 employees; COO Lennart Eckerlein founded and ran a mid-sized trades business; CTO Leandro Ananias leads the platform architecture and unified data model. That combination gives the team experience in both scaling software organisations and managing the workflows its customers face.
The seed follows a pre-seed round led by May Ventures roughly six months earlier. Reimann Investors describes trades and construction as a large vertical software market whose specialised processes are poorly served by generic point solutions. The new capital gives conmeet room to deepen the platform and build distribution across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The execution test is whether it can make a broad operating system straightforward to adopt: replacing fragmented tools creates more potential value than automating a single task, but it also asks customers to move more of their daily operation onto one system.
