€350k · Pre-Seed · Software · Barcelona, Spain
Constrik, a Spanish software startup building AI tools for construction-company tender and study teams, has raised €350k in pre-seed funding led by Plus Partners. The company will use the capital to hire its first commercial specialist, an implementation engineer and a full-stack developer, while expanding deployment among large and mid-sized contractors.
Winning work before margin disappears
Contractors often commit to a fixed project price after reviewing plans, measuring quantities, requesting subcontractor quotes and estimating thousands of line items under time pressure. Constrik is aimed at that pre-contract work. Its platform accepts BC3 budget files, IFC building models and plan PDFs, then extracts measurements, maps work to trades, audits missing or duplicated items and compares prices with a contractor’s own historical data.
The product is designed to make information from earlier bids reusable rather than leaving it scattered across folders or held by a few experienced estimators. That creates a company-specific data loop: each completed study can improve the reference base for the next one. The commercial value depends on whether that history helps teams catch costly omissions and prepare more bids without weakening review quality.
Constrik lists its platform at €250 per active project per month. Starting with one project lowers the commitment for a contractor testing the workflow, while project-based expansion gives Constrik a route to grow revenue as more teams or jobs adopt the system. The model will be strongest when customers keep their price history and tender process inside the platform; it will be weaker if each new deployment requires extensive custom setup.
Implementation is part of the product
El Referente reports that Constrik has completed a pilot with a large Catalan construction group and begun implementation at San Martín, giving the company two early contractor deployments. Those projects are useful evidence of access to the target customer, but they do not yet establish repeatable rollout across the sector.
The planned hires show where the next test sits. A sector-experienced salesperson can open accounts, but the implementation engineer must translate each contractor’s file structures, estimating conventions and approval process into a working deployment. The full-stack hire can then turn repeated requirements into product features. For an early construction-software company, shortening that path from demo to routine use may matter as much as adding another AI capability.
