€5m · Seed · Fintech · Tallinn, Estonia
Tallinn-based Creem, which provides billing, payments, tax compliance, payouts and revenue tools for globally distributed software companies, has raised €5m in seed funding. Practica Capital said Inovo VC led the round, with Practica and Antler participating alongside founders and operators from Bolt, Ready Player Me, Voi and Viktor. The round takes total funding to €7m and supports the rollout of Creem 2.0.
Billing becomes part of the product architecture
Software companies selling globally must connect pricing, payments, tax, payouts and revenue reporting before they can collect reliably. AI products add usage-based charges and agent-initiated transactions to that stack. Creem's pitch is to combine these functions behind one operating layer, reducing the integrations and compliance work that a small product team must maintain.
The commercial advantage will depend on how much complexity Creem removes after checkout, not only on processing a payment. Affiliate attribution, revenue splits, usage metering and tax obligations all create exceptions that grow with international sales. If the platform keeps those workflows coherent as customers scale, it can become harder to replace because billing logic sits inside how each product is sold.
