Cubicup, a Valencia-based company digitising full home renovations, has raised €2m in financing led by Suma Capital through its SC Climate Tech Ventures I fund. Returning investor Fondo Bolsa Social also participated.
Founded in 2018, Cubicup combines design, construction management, technology and sustainability in one process. It operates in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Málaga with more than 50 staff and showrooms in each city. Suma Capital says the company has renovated more than 800 homes and had delivered or was working on 110 projects in 2026.
The capital will support further development of Cubicup OS and its AI agents, commercial and operational expansion in Spain, preparation for entry into Southern European markets, and hiring across technology, product and business.
Software only matters if the renovation becomes repeatable
Residential renovation is difficult to scale because every property, contractor and permitting process introduces variation. Cubicup's opportunity is to turn that fragmented work into a more standard operating system: digital models, structured budgets and timelines, and one workflow from design through construction and aftercare. If that reduces uncertainty for homeowners, the software can improve conversion as well as project delivery.
The harder test comes with geographic expansion. Cubicup reports 95% average accuracy on budgets and timelines and delivery roughly 30% faster than traditional processes, but those claims need to hold as it adds teams, suppliers and local rules. Repeat business economics, contribution margins and predictable delivery across cities will show whether Cubicup OS is a scalable operating advantage rather than a service layer around bespoke projects.
