SEK 37m · Seed · AI · Stockholm, Sweden
Stockholm-based Elergi has raised SEK 37m in its first funding round. Breakit reported the financing on 22 September, and Tech.eu classifies it as a seed round. The company is building agentic AI software for power-grid planning; the sources checked did not identify the investors or give a detailed use-of-funds plan.
Grid connection studies are a workflow bottleneck
Elergi says its product takes grid teams from request intake and network context through study composition, physics checks and evidence for review. Running thousands of scenarios in parallel could let utilities and large power users compare more connection or reinforcement options without removing the engineer from the decision.
The commercial value will depend on auditability. Grid-planning decisions shape capital spending and system reliability, so customers will care less about generic automation than whether Elergi can reproduce inputs, show where a plan breaks and generate evidence an engineer can defend. Deep integration into network models and approval workflows could make the product harder to replace; outputs that need extensive manual rechecking would narrow the time saving.
