€3m · Pre-Seed · AI · Munich, Germany
Munich-based Elevatry has closed €3 million in pre-seed funding with Bayern Kapital, procurement consultancy H&Z and business angels including Jan Henner-Theißen, Martin Berr-Sorokin, Mike Simon, Markus Ehrle, Andreas Junck and Alexander Bruehl. Its agentic AI platform for strategic procurement went live on 28 September. The company will use the capital to develop the product, hire across engineering, AI, marketing and customer support, and enter the DACH and wider EU markets.
Turning procurement knowledge into repeatable work
Elevatry is aimed at the strategic work that happens before a purchase order: analysing spend, planning a category, evaluating suppliers, preparing negotiations, managing contract decisions and monitoring risk. Its “Companions” include a Category Strategist, Negotiation Coach and Risk & Integrity Manager. They carry out research, analysis and scenario preparation across the source-to-contract process, then present proposals for the procurement team to decide.
The company calls this a system of initiative rather than a passive system of record. The platform is designed to plan work proactively, rank actions by financial impact and reuse the organisation’s own contracts, past negotiations and procurement decisions. Customers can configure autonomy, approvals and data controls, while each result contributes to a knowledge layer that remains specific to that customer.
That architecture addresses a practical constraint: procurement teams cannot apply their most experienced category managers’ methods to every supplier and spending category. Software can extend coverage, but the commercial value depends on the quality of the underlying company data and whether recommendations fit existing approval workflows. H&Z’s own analysis of procurement AI makes the same implementation point: data quality, workflow integration and team capability determine whether a use case produces sustained value.
The next proof is deployment
Elevatry was founded in 2026 by Heiko Schwarz, Christian Ruck and Tizian Ruck. The company says Schwarz previously founded supply-chain risk software company riskmethods, which Sphera acquired, while Christian Ruck was COO of procurement SaaS company Orpheus before its sale to McKinsey. That background gives the team experience in enterprise procurement products and the long sales and implementation cycles around them.
H&Z’s role combines capital with procurement expertise and potential market access, while Bayern Kapital adds an institutional investor. The company plans to begin in DACH and the EU before pursuing North America. Its announcement does not name customers or publish measured outcomes, and Schwarz says the company is now moving to prove impact with customers. The financing therefore funds an execution test: whether Elevatry can turn expert procurement methods into repeatable deployments without making each customer implementation a bespoke consulting project.
