$205m · Other round · Space · Sofia, Bulgaria
EnduroSat has raised $205m in a round co-led by Riot Ventures and Atreides Management, joined by the European Innovation Council, GV, Founders Fund, House Capital, Lux Capital, Omnes Capital, Giant Ventures, Emphatic Capital and Endeavor Catalyst. The Bulgarian satellite company will use the funding to expand serial production, build a high-volume US facility and develop larger FRAME spacecraft.
Satellite economics move from projects to production
Traditional satellite programmes are bespoke, slow and expensive. EnduroSat’s software-flexible buses and constellation-as-a-service model are designed to reuse hardware configurations and manufacturing processes across missions. If that standardisation holds, each additional spacecraft requires less one-off engineering and can reach orbit on a more predictable cadence.
The financing lets EnduroSat invest ahead of demand in US manufacturing and a larger European space and defence hub. The operating test is utilisation: factories and standard platforms create an advantage only when customer backlog converts into repeated builds and reliable launches. Higher cadence could make satellite deployment look less like custom aerospace procurement and more like an industrial production system.
