€1.3m · Other round · Sports · Spain
Spanish fitness-analytics company FitnessKPI has raised €1.3m to accelerate commercial expansion in the United States and develop further artificial-intelligence capabilities. El Referente reports that Encomenda Capital and Angels Capital led the round, with all existing investors increasing their participation.
The financing follows a round of more than €1m in 2024 and a €500,000 investment recorded in 2025. The current round is a separate event, not an update to the earlier financing. FitnessKPI says its platform now draws on more than 50 integrations and a benchmark covering over 1,500 clubs in more than 26 countries.
Turning fragmented club data into operating decisions
Fitness operators often hold membership, billing, booking, accounting and customer-relationship data in separate systems. FitnessKPI connects those sources, standardises club-level information and lets chains compare performance across locations. Its ANNA assistant analyses the combined data for risks such as member churn, while the company says each prediction includes a risk score and the reasons behind it.
The commercial mechanism is stronger than a generic analytics dashboard when integrations and benchmarking reinforce one another. More connected systems can reduce manual reporting, while a wider pool of comparable clubs can make performance gaps easier to interpret. That can help operators decide where to focus on conversion, retention or revenue, but it also makes data quality and consistent KPI definitions central to the product’s value.
US growth will test repeatability
The new capital gives FitnessKPI resources to build sales in the United States, where it will need to convert its existing product and benchmark into repeatable deployments for gym chains. The company says new clubs require integration and data validation before their information becomes comparable, so expansion depends on onboarding customers without turning every rollout into a bespoke data project.
Renewed backing from the existing investor group reduces the need to introduce a new lead while FitnessKPI enters that market. The execution test is whether its fitness-specific data model travels across operators with different software stacks and business practices. If it does, each US deployment can add both recurring revenue and more useful comparison data; if integration work remains highly customised, implementation capacity may limit the pace of growth.
