Istanbul-based For Physician has raised $267.2k through a convertible note at a stated $4m valuation. TechInside’s report, based on the company’s release, says ÜNLÜ & Co, Dr Orhan Mutlu Topal and academic physicians participated. The debt is intended to convert into equity in a later round rather than remain a conventional term loan.
A physician network supplies context around the models
For Physician began as a clinical collaboration network where verified doctors share cases and request specialist comments. It has since added AI tools for clinical questions, image interpretation and prescription review. The company’s current product site says doctors can use several leading models in one workspace and separately request an opinion from a specialist across more than 20 branches.
That separation is commercially important. An AI answer is not automatically approved by a doctor, and the platform explicitly leaves the final clinical decision with the user. The network instead gives physicians an optional second channel when they want to compare a model’s response with human experience. It also produces feedback about which questions and workflows clinicians actually use.
Usage data can guide narrower clinical tools
The company reports more than 300,000 shared cases, 1.5m physician and specialist comments, and 100,000 messages with its AI tools. Those are company figures rather than independent outcome measures, but they indicate a large base of real clinical interactions from which For Physician can identify repeated tasks.
The next product step is to turn that activity into focused tools rather than a generic chat interface. The site describes structured workflows for differential diagnosis, visual assessment and medication checks, as well as custom tools for medical associations and institutions. Each use case will need clear source boundaries, privacy controls and evidence that it saves time without encouraging overreliance on an unverified answer.
The convertible-note financing gives For Physician limited near-term capital while postponing the final equity price. Its strongest asset is the combination of software and an active professional network; the execution test is whether that network can improve product quality and institutional adoption without blurring responsibility for clinical decisions.
