Paris-based Graneet has raised €7m in new funding to expand its ERP platform for small and mid-sized construction companies. The company plans new planning, after-sales, dashboard and API modules, alongside AI agents that can work with operational data. Graneet says it now serves nearly 1,500 customers. Turning an invoice mandate into operational data
Construction companies do not experience an invoice as an isolated accounting document. It can be tied to a revised quote, a supplier delivery, work completed to date, retention or a subcontractor payment. Graneet brings those records into the same system as estimates, purchasing, labour and job-level margins, aiming to show how actual performance is moving against the original budget before a project closes. France's e-invoicing transition gives that product strategy a timely entry point. Graneet relies on Pennylane for the regulated transmission layer and positions its own software around the construction workflow that surrounds each invoice. If incoming documents arrive digitally and are attached to the correct supplier, purchase and project, the compliance event can also update a live view of cash commitments and margin. Graneet's breadth is part of the commercial wager. The platform already spans estimating, purchasing, invoicing, workforce, inventory, CRM and profitability. One customer, Atelier Louis Del Boca, says it replaced Excel and paper-based invoicing while growing revenue from €7m to €14m without increasing administrative headcount. That is a company-published case study rather than independent measurement, but it illustrates why a vertical ERP can win: its value grows when more of the customer's workflow and project history sit in one system. The new capital will test whether Graneet can extend that system without making it harder for construction SMEs to use. AI agents connected to ERP data could help finance directors, site managers and administrators retrieve information or prepare routine work, while the planned API and dashboards can make the same records available to other tools and decision-makers. The important execution question is not whether Graneet can add more features, but whether those features preserve a consistent view of each project's economics.
