Barcelona-based Health Force, which builds traceable AI agents for hospital administrative workflows, has raised €4.2m in seed funding. LUMO Labs said it led the round, with Step Venture, Next Tier Ventures, Target Global and Calm/Storm participating. The capital will expand the agent catalogue, grow engineering and delivery teams, and support entry into Germany, France and Spain.
Hospital automation has to survive handovers
Administrative work in hospitals crosses departments, software systems and approval points, so a useful agent must do more than complete a single task. Health Force's emphasis on end-to-end workflows under human supervision targets the handovers where information is often re-entered or checked. Traceability matters because staff need to understand what the system did before acting on its output.
That makes implementation part of the product. Each hospital has its own processes, integrations and accountability rules, which can slow deployment even when a workflow is technically automatable. Health Force can improve its economics if it turns early installations into reusable agent patterns while preserving local controls; expansion across three countries will test how much of that operating model transfers between health systems.
