Vienna-based iDWELL has secured a seven-figure euro investment from Riverside Acceleration Capital to expand its artificial-intelligence products and property-management operating system. The company says the non-dilutive growth financing leaves its ownership structure unchanged; it did not disclose the exact amount or commercial terms.
The announcement comes with a new operating milestone. iDWELL says more than 900 customers now use its software to manage over two million residential units across Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Riverside describes the product as a central hub for maintenance requests, communications and workflows involving property managers, landlords, tenants, service providers and building staff.
Layering automation onto existing systems
Professional property management is difficult to modernise through a clean system replacement. Accounting-focused ERP software often remains essential, while service requests and stakeholder communication spill into email, calls and spreadsheets. iDWELL’s answer is to sit across that fragmented environment: its CRM, tenant app and automation modules coordinate the work, while more than 50 integrations connect the platform to established ERP and productivity tools.
That integration layer is the commercial mechanism behind the expansion. A property manager can add workflow and communication tools without migrating every accounting record at once, lowering the disruption involved in adopting the software. Once connected, iDWELL can offer additional modules to the same installed base. The advantage depends on integration quality: automating more processes only creates value if data continues to move accurately between iDWELL and the systems customers already rely on.
Finance moves closer to the system of record
The new capital will support iDWELL Finance and further development of Greta-AI, which the company is building to automate administrative, documentation and invoicing tasks. iDWELL Finance processes invoices, routes approvals and passes posting data to accounting systems. iDWELL acquired exclusive real-estate rights to the underlying Domonda technology in December 2025 and said the product was already used by around 100 property companies.
Invoice management takes iDWELL deeper into a high-consequence workflow. Better recognition and approval automation can reduce manual entry, but financial documents also demand reliable controls, audit trails and integrations. That makes uptake of Finance a more meaningful test than simply adding another AI interface: customers must trust the platform with work that leads directly into accounting and payment processes.
Founded in 2017, iDWELL previously announced an approximately €10m investment in 2024 from Knight Capital and existing backers Flashpoint and Wecken & Cie. The current financing adds a specialist B2B software growth investor without new equity dilution. The next proof point is whether iDWELL can turn its DACH installed base and integration network into wider adoption of its finance and AI modules while preserving the reliability of the underlying property-management workflows.
