€2m · Other round · AI · Paris, France
Paris-based Joe AI, which builds AI agents for real estate companies, has raised €2m in a funding round led by Xplore, the venture capital brand of Épopée Gestion. Existing investor Plug and Play Ventures joined the round alongside entrepreneurs and business angels including Thierry Herrmann, Olivier and Patrick Safar, Marc Menasé, Benjamin Chemla, Justine Cazalière, Rémy Sultan, Renaud Dalbera, and Cyril and Julien Madar. The company plans to deepen the product, expand into commercial real estate, build more software partnerships and prepare launches in additional European markets.
Dealroom reports that about 90% of the financing is equity, with the balance coming from public financing, mainly through Bpifrance.
From answering messages to completing work
Real estate teams field recurring questions from prospects, owners, tenants and co-owners across phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp and live chat. Joe AI's agents are designed to handle those channels together, understand the context of a request and work inside the software already used by agencies and property managers. That distinction matters commercially: an agent that only answers a question saves response time, while one that can route a case, book an appointment, send a document or update a workflow can remove a complete piece of administrative work.
The integration layer is therefore central to the product rather than a secondary feature. Real estate companies already depend on property-management, CRM and communications systems, and replacing those systems would make adoption harder. By connecting to them, Joe AI can be introduced around existing processes and calibrated to a customer's scripts, knowledge and escalation rules. The resulting value depends on reliability across both conversation and action: a fluent response is useful, but the larger productivity gain comes when the underlying task is completed correctly.
Software partnerships become the expansion channel
According to Épopée Gestion's announcement, Joe AI has grown to more than 500 clients and several thousand professional users in two years, and now orchestrates several hundred thousand communications each month. Its users span independent agencies, national networks, property managers, developers and commercial real estate companies. Those figures are company-reported, but they show that Joe AI is testing the product across several operating models rather than a single narrow customer type.
The next step is distribution as much as model development. Joe AI intends to strengthen partnerships with real estate software vendors and, according to Dealroom, begin European expansion in Spain, Portugal and Italy. Software partnerships can put the product closer to existing customer workflows and reduce integration work for each sale. They also raise the execution bar: expanding across countries means adapting agents to different languages, business practices and local software stacks while preserving consistent handoffs and auditability.
