$57m · Series B · Fintech · Paris, France
Kaiko, a Paris-headquartered provider of regulated data services for digital assets and tokenized markets, has added $57m to its Series B, taking the round's total to $110m. S&P Global led the extension alongside Alura Capital, BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Existing shareholders Anthemis, Point Nine and Revaia also participated. Kaiko says the financing will strengthen its market-data business and expand the infrastructure it provides to onchain capital markets.
Strategic investors can shorten the route to market standards
Kaiko's new backers span pricing, trading, banking, market infrastructure and blockchain networks. They have also joined a Kaiko-chaired working group focused on data infrastructure for tokenized markets. That gives the company direct input from institutions that could become customers or distribution partners, and may help its data formats and controls fit the systems those institutions already operate.
The same model puts a premium on neutrality. Pricing, benchmark and risk data only become shared infrastructure when participants trust the methodology, coverage and governance, including institutions that did not invest. Kaiko's regulated entities and audit attestations support that case, but the commercial test is whether its standards can win broad adoption beyond the strategic group assembled around this round.
