SEK 3m · Other round · Software · Helsingborg, Sweden
Helsingborg-based Liveday has raised SEK 3m from existing shareholders to develop its platform for sports and live events. Øresund Startup News reported that the capital will support technology, team growth and preparation for expansion into new countries and markets. The company did not disclose a more specific round label, so the brief uses Tech.eu’s canonical Other classification.
One commerce layer across the venue
Liveday brings ticketing, point-of-sale, hospitality, kiosks, merchandise, memberships and customer relationship management into one system. Clubs and event organisers can connect what a visitor buys before arrival with what happens inside the venue, giving staff a combined view of sales and fan activity instead of separate tools for each channel.
The commercial logic is higher revenue per visitor and less operational fragmentation. A club can add food, merchandise or upgrades during the ticket flow, then use the same customer record for communication and loyalty. On matchday, real-time reporting across kiosks and other points of sale can help operators adjust staffing, stock and promotions while the event is still running.
Inventory turns data into an operating test
Liveday’s recent product releases include integrated inventory management, invoicing, payment links and support for event organisers beyond sport. The inventory module tracks stock across central storage, kiosks and online channels, addressing a practical problem: a venue can know what it sold while still lacking an accurate view of what remains at each location.
That breadth is useful only if the platform stays reliable under peak demand and remains simple for small operational teams. International expansion also introduces payment methods, tax rules and integrations that vary by market. The new funding is modest, so the next milestone is disciplined rollout: larger clubs and event partners should deepen usage across several modules without support costs rising as quickly as transaction volume.
