Oxylabs, a Vilnius-based web intelligence and data infrastructure company, has secured $130 million in its first outside investment from Warburg Pincus. The transaction values the business at approximately $3.6 billion and was made through the Warburg Pincus Capital Solutions Founders Fund.
Founded in 2015, Oxylabs has grown from a premium proxy provider into a platform that helps AI systems and enterprises collect, structure and use public web data at scale. The company says the investment will support new products, a larger global network and further development of its agentic web-search infrastructure.
AI agents increase the value of live web access
Large language models can answer from stored training data, but agents that research prices, monitor markets or act across websites need current information. Oxylabs supplies the access layer through proxy networks, web-scraping tools, APIs and datasets, serving customers across cybersecurity, ecommerce and financial services.
The commercial opportunity is not simply more data collection. Enterprise customers need reliable access, structured output and controls around compliance and provenance. Oxylabs’ network, patent portfolio and established relationships with Fortune 500 and AI companies give it distribution, while the investment gives it room to deepen the product layer above that infrastructure.
The test is moving up the stack without weakening the core network
Oxylabs is positioning itself as full-stack web-data infrastructure rather than a proxy supplier. That can expand revenue per customer, but it also raises the execution burden: the company must maintain access quality across a changing web while building products that agents and enterprise systems can integrate directly.
Warburg Pincus’ flexible-capital fund can support growth, shareholder liquidity, M&A or balance-sheet needs, although the announcement does not disclose how the $130 million is split between those purposes. For Oxylabs, the strategic measure will be whether the capital accelerates higher-value software products while preserving the network reliability that made those products possible.
