$15m · Series A · Software · Berlin, Germany
Berlin-based Passionfroot has raised a $15m Series A led by Insight Partners, with existing investors Creandum, Supernode Global and s16vc participating. The company said the funding will deepen its Zest AI agent and proprietary Creator Graph, while supporting US go-to-market expansion. Co-founder and CEO Jen Phan is relocating to New York to open an office, while product and engineering remain anchored in Berlin and a São Paulo office is planned for customer success and engineering.
Passionfroot is building an operating layer for B2B creator campaigns. Its platform connects creator discovery, campaign briefs, outreach, contracting, execution, payments and performance measurement. Zest turns a marketing goal into a proposed campaign and helps brands identify creators whose audiences match the buyer profile; marketers retain approval over proposals and execution. A wallet centralises global payouts, while the Creator Graph uses pricing and performance data from thousands of campaigns to inform future decisions.
Turning creator campaigns into a repeatable channel
The commercial mechanism is less about producing more content than making a fragmented channel manageable. B2B creator work often spans separate spreadsheets, messages, contracts, invoices and reporting tools. Pulling those steps into one workflow can reduce coordination costs and give marketing teams a comparable view of spend and results across creators. If campaign outcomes feed back into creator selection, the product can improve the next allocation decision rather than treating every collaboration as a fresh search.
That data loop is also the strategic reason to automate the whole workflow. Discovery alone is easy to copy; proprietary performance history is harder to reproduce if it captures which creator, platform and format reaches a specific professional audience at an acceptable cost. Insight Partners said it backed Passionfroot because creator-led distribution is becoming more important as software categories fill with AI-generated products and messages. That is an investor thesis, not proof of durable advantage, but it explains why the round is aimed at both automation and the underlying data layer.
Expansion raises the measurement test
Passionfroot said revenue grew 13 times over the previous year while the company remained profitable with a team of 15. It also reported working with more than 150 B2B brands, including ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer and Gamma. TechCrunch reported that the platform paid at least $10m to creators over the previous 18 months. These are company-reported traction figures, but they show the operating volume behind the product.
The next test is whether international expansion preserves that learning loop. More customers and creators broaden the data available to Zest, but they also introduce different markets, platforms, payment rules and campaign norms. The Series A gives Passionfroot room to prove that its workflow can make creator-led growth measurable and repeatable across those differences, rather than simply making individual campaigns easier to administer.
