$8m · Other round · Software · Paris, France
Paris-based corporate IT platform Primo has raised $8m in a funding round led by Headline and Global Founders Capital, with backing from Arthur Waller and Romain Niccoli. The company says it will use the financing to develop autonomous IT agents, hire and expand internationally.
Primo combines device management, software access, identity and IT support in one system. Its agents are designed to execute workflows such as ordering and configuring hardware for a new employee, assigning role-based software access and reversing those permissions when someone leaves.
Context turns automation into execution
IT automation often stalls because the necessary information is split across HR systems, device tools, software licences and access controls. Primo's advantage is the unified operating layer beneath its agents: it can connect an employee's role and company policy to the systems where an action must occur.
That same reach creates a control burden. Automating onboarding saves repetitive work, but mistakes in access or offboarding can create security risk. Primo will need strong approval rules, audit trails and reversibility as its agents take on more tasks. The commercial payoff is clearest if customers see fewer tickets and faster provisioning without losing control.
