€6m · Seed · Software · Amsterdam, Netherlands
PromptWatch has raised a €6m Seed round led by Seed + Speed Ventures, with Blum Ventures participating and Arches Capital following on from the company's pre-seed financing. The funding announcement says the capital will support a New York office, expand engineering and go-to-market teams, and accelerate its AI-search optimisation platform.
Measuring visibility after the blue links
PromptWatch sells software to brands and agencies that want to understand how they appear in answers from systems such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. It monitors prompts, responses, citations and changes across models, then turns gaps in a brand's visibility into recommended content and website actions. The company is moving beyond monitoring with agents that can produce and publish content through connected sites.
That workflow addresses a measurement problem created by answer engines. A customer may be named, described or omitted without receiving a conventional search click, while the sources behind an answer vary by model and query. PromptWatch's commercial pitch is to join observation, action and downstream traffic in one subscription rather than leave marketing teams with another visibility dashboard.
Automation makes attribution the harder proof
PromptWatch said it passed €2m in annual recurring revenue within 12 months of launch and was adding more than 150 customers a month when it announced the round. It also said its platform collected more than 100 million data points a day from AI interactions. Those are company-reported figures, but they show why investors are funding international sales alongside product development.
The harder test is whether automated changes cause durable improvement. Model updates, source authority and query wording can all move visibility independently of a customer's actions. PromptWatch will need to separate correlation from impact while giving brands control over what its agents publish. If it can connect recommendations to qualified traffic and revenue without weakening editorial or compliance safeguards, AI-search optimisation can become a recurring operating workflow rather than a periodic audit.
