£2.75m · Pre-Seed · Personal wealth software · London, UK
Quartz, a personal wealth platform that brings cash, investments, pensions and property into one dashboard, has raised £2.75m in pre-seed funding. Daphni led the round, with Outward VC, K Fund, Philippe Gelis and Gilles BianRosa participating. The London company says it will use the capital to expand its product and team following its UK launch. Read the original report.
A subscription bet on access, not assets
Quartz offers a read-only view of a user's wealth for a flat £16.99 monthly fee, without a minimum portfolio size. It does not provide investment advice or execute trades. That makes the product a decision layer across fragmented holdings rather than another brokerage, widening access but leaving Quartz without transaction revenue or an assets-under-management fee to subsidise the service.
The company says members already track more than £10m through the platform. Because subscription revenue does not automatically rise with the value of those assets, retention depends on the dashboard becoming useful between major financial decisions. The commercial test is whether aggregation and guidance can create a recurring habit; otherwise, a comprehensive wealth view risks becoming an occasional snapshot rather than a durable consumer relationship.
