Rayon has raised €10 million in a Series A led by Partech, with existing investors Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp also participating. The Paris-based company will use the funding to add 3D and AI capabilities to its browser-based design platform and expand its go-to-market operation. The round takes total funding to nearly €16 million, following a €4 million seed round in 2023 and a €1.7 million pre-seed in 2022.
Turning drawings into a shared operating layer
Founded in 2021 by Bastien Dolla and Stanislas Chaillou, Rayon brings floor plans, styling, specifications and schedules into one shared browser workspace. Teams can import PDFs, images and DWG files, build reusable block libraries and edit drawings together in real time. Because the drawing and its underlying data sit in the same environment, changes can flow into linked schedules instead of being reconciled across separate files.
That matters commercially because interior projects often pass through designers, operators and clients before execution. Rayon's link-based collaboration and shared libraries turn the drawing into a working system for decisions, not merely an exported deliverable. The company says Virgin Atlantic uses the product for airport lounges, while CityHub and Coloc Housing report monthly savings from running feasibility work in-house. Those are company-reported examples, but they show the workflow Rayon is selling: faster iteration before specialist or construction costs are committed.
AI and 3D widen the workflow
The Series A is aimed at widening that workflow. Rayon already offers a floor-plan vectoriser that converts scanned or photographed plans into editable drawings, plus a tool that generates blocks from photographs. According to EU-Startups' reporting, a fourth product version due before the end of 2026 is expected to add a broader AI suite and 3D inside the same workspace. The company has also released a mobile-first app and a presentation mode for editing and sharing drawings with clients in the room.
The execution question is whether Rayon can keep professional-grade precision while making increasingly automated tools approachable to a broader interior-design market. Its browser architecture gives the company a distribution advantage: collaborators can join through a link and teams can standardise templates and asset libraries without managing local files. The new capital gives Rayon room to deepen the product while building the sales motion needed to convert that usability into organisation-wide adoption.
