€13m · Growth/Late · Software · Limerick, Ireland
Limerick-headquartered Redfaire has secured a €13m minority growth investment from BGF. The enterprise applications and cloud services provider says the funding will support international expansion, continued service development and selective acquisitions, while its founding team retains control.
Growth capital for a specialist Oracle platform
Founded in 2003, Redfaire helps enterprises implement, modernise and run Oracle systems across JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Fusion. Its work spans consulting and implementation through managed services and application support, covering on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments. BGF says the company has more than 200 employees and operates across Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe and North America, serving global businesses with complex, mission-critical systems.
That mix makes the investment less about funding a single software release than scaling a specialist delivery platform. ERP changes reach into finance, supply chains, manufacturing and human resources, so customers need technical migration work as well as support after a system goes live. Redfaire can therefore expand each relationship across implementation, infrastructure and ongoing operations. The commercial test is whether additional capital lets it add scarce Oracle expertise and enter new markets without weakening the service continuity on which those relationships depend.
Redfaire also combines its direct operations with the Redfaire International partner network to serve multinational customers. That model can extend geographic coverage without building every local team from scratch, while acquisitions can add owned capability where a function or market is strategically important. The stated strategy therefore blends organic delivery expansion with targeted purchases rather than relying on one route to growth.
Acquisition capacity is already part of the plan
Redfaire had already acquired UK-based eKal Solutions before the BGF transaction. The deal added Oracle Fusion capabilities across human capital management, enterprise performance management, finance and supply-chain transformation. Redfaire said existing projects, teams and support arrangements would continue unchanged, signalling that integration quality is part of the proposition rather than a back-office detail.
The financing also brings governance support. Glenn Timms, a former PwC Corporate Finance partner and former CEO of IESA, is joining as non-executive chair through BGF's Talent Network. BGF highlighted his experience in international scaling and acquisitions, which fits Redfaire's stated plan to grow both organically and through deals.
A minority investment preserves management control while giving Redfaire capital for expansion and acquisitions. That structure aligns with a services business whose value sits in specialist teams and long-term customer trust. The next stage will be measured less by the number of territories entered than by whether Redfaire can combine acquired capabilities into a broader Oracle offering while maintaining delivery quality for existing customers.
