$3m · Other round · Software · Manchester, UK
Manchester-based Revnu has raised $3m in funding in a round led by NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures, with backing from Y Combinator, identity.vc, InvestorX and angel investors. The company says the capital will build its Manchester team, accelerate growth in the UK and US, and support further international expansion.
Revnu positions its product as an AI growth hire for early-stage companies that cannot yet justify a large in-house marketing team. Its agents research buyers, prepare outbound messages, run advertising, publish search content and work on retention. Founders approve work requiring judgment, while the system carries learning from one channel into the others.
One feedback loop across every growth channel
The commercial argument is not simply that AI can produce more campaigns. Revnu is trying to connect execution and measurement across channels: an angle that earns replies in outbound can inform content, while an ad that produces qualified calls can attract more budget. The company’s product material says it works across outbound, paid ads, SEO and generative-engine optimisation, with results reported back through messaging rather than another dashboard.
That shared loop is the main test of the product. Running more activity is easy to demonstrate, but customers ultimately need evidence that the system is choosing better accounts, messages and spending decisions. Revnu’s own approval model matters here: keeping founders in control of consequential actions may help the product learn from business context that is difficult to infer from campaign data alone.
Manchester becomes the operating base
Co-founders George Jefferson and Art Freebrey met at secondary school and built several businesses together before joining Y Combinator’s Spring 2026 batch. They temporarily moved to San Francisco for the programme, then returned to Manchester. Revnu says many of its current customers are in San Francisco, but the founders chose Manchester as the base for hiring and product development.
That creates a transatlantic operating model: customer demand and investor access in the US, with the core team built in northern England. PXN Ventures says the financing will fund hiring in Manchester and expansion across the UK, US and other international markets. The execution question is whether Revnu can turn the founders’ hands-on growth playbook into a repeatable product while serving customers across time zones and marketing channels.
