PLN 7m · Series A · Wellness & Beauty · Warsaw, Poland
Warsaw-based Science4Beauty has raised a PLN 7m Series A round to scale its recombinant-protein skincare platform. 4growth VC announced the investment, with Hard2beat and business angels participating.
The company designs and produces recombinant proteins and bioactive peptides in its own genetic-engineering laboratory. Its flagship Miorelaxant Magic line uses a proprietary conotoxin-inspired active intended to relax facial muscles and support non-invasive wrinkle care. The round will fund production and sales expansion, research into additional molecules for dermatology and aesthetic medicine, and distribution in international markets.
From laboratory platform to commercial products
Science4Beauty combines two routes to market: professional distribution through aesthetic-medicine clinics and direct sales through its online store. That matters because the same underlying peptide platform can support finished consumer products while also building credibility with practitioners. The company says it had launched five products and generated more than PLN 500,000 in 2025 revenue without marketing spend, giving the new investors an early commercial base rather than a research-only proposition.
The technical leverage sits upstream. An in-house process for designing, producing and purifying recombinant proteins can feed several applications instead of tying the company to one cream. The funding announcement says Science4Beauty is exploring bioactive molecules for rosacea and hyperhidrosis as well as delivery formats such as microneedle patches. Each expansion, however, will require its own evidence and commercial validation.
Scaling evidence alongside distribution
Science4Beauty reports clinical testing for its lead line, including wrinkle-depth reduction and longer-lasting effects alongside botulinum-toxin procedures. Those results are company-provided, so the expansion case depends on maintaining clear evidence as the product range broadens. The investment can connect laboratory capability with repeatable manufacturing and international channels, but commercial durability will come from showing that new formulations perform consistently outside the initial product line.
For investors, the attraction is a biotechnology platform entering a market with established consumer demand and clinic distribution. The near-term milestone is whether Science4Beauty can turn its protected production know-how into multiple products while keeping quality, claims and channel economics aligned across markets.
