€1.2m · Pre-Seed · Transportation · Vilnius, Lithuania
Vilnius-based Sigvi, which builds an operating platform for independent car-rental fleets, has raised €1.2m in pre-seed funding. The company said Superhero Capital led the round, with participation from Lithuanian business angel Vladas Lašas and other private investors.
A shared operating layer for independent fleets
Sigvi does not buy the vehicles it rents. Instead, it brings cars from independent fleet operators and private owners onto one managed network, then handles the rental workflow through its software: dynamic pricing, bookings, keyless access, vehicle inspections, maintenance scheduling and customer support. The company says it currently manages more than 200 vehicles and launched in Poland in June 2026. Its consumer site shows how the service spans short-term, long-term, replacement and business rentals rather than a single trip type.
That model gives small operators a distribution and operations layer without requiring Sigvi to finance a fleet itself. The commercial opportunity is to improve utilisation of vehicles that already exist while making a fragmented supply base feel consistent to renters. The constraint sits in the same place: pricing, handover, maintenance and support have to remain reliable across different owners, vehicle ages and markets. More cars expand choice and availability only if operating quality scales with the network.
Sigvi says its rentals are typically priced around 30% below traditional international brands, while using existing and second-cycle vehicles rather than buying a new fleet. That is a company claim, not a disclosed unit-economics result, but it clarifies the wager behind the round: automation and higher vehicle utilisation must create enough room to offer lower prices while covering maintenance, support and partner costs.
Poland is the first scaling test
Sigvi says the funding will deepen its automation platform and help expand the managed network to 2,000 vehicles over the next two years. Superhero Capital described the company as building the whole rental operation rather than only an app, pointing to its Poland launch and existing vehicle base. Polish reporting likewise frames the expansion as a move into a market of independent operators that often lack advanced pricing, sales and customer-service tools. The 2,000-vehicle figure remains a target, so the useful milestone will be whether Sigvi can add supply while preserving a predictable digital rental experience.
