€4m · Other round · Proptech · Tschagguns, Austria
Sodex Innovations, an Austrian construction technology company, has raised €4m in a financing round led by Capmont Technology. New investors Bloomhaus Ventures, Look AI Ventures and Superangels joined the round, alongside follow-on backing from SOSV, OMA and 12 Rounds Capital.
The company equips construction and mining machinery with cameras and laser scanners that collect site data while the machines are already working. That information flows into Sodex's cloud platform for documentation, volume calculations, progress analysis and operational dashboards.
Making site data part of the daily workflow
Traditional surveying creates periodic snapshots and often requires dedicated staff to stop work, take measurements and process the results. Sodex's approach turns machinery into mobile data collectors, giving project teams a more continuous view of terrain, material movements and construction progress. Its platform can also combine machine scans with drone data and existing survey files.
Sodex says the system is used across earthmoving, aggregates, mining and pipeline construction. According to Tech.eu, more than 100 customers in Europe, North America and Australia already use the technology. The new capital will support team growth, a broader product portfolio and faster international expansion.
