$5.7m · Seed · Software · London, UK
London-based Symbe has raised a $5.7m Seed round led by Kfund, with Pact Venture Partners and Notion Capital participating. Pact’s portfolio update records the round on 14 October, while the company’s product is built to help enterprise sellers and buyers construct a shared financial case for a purchase.
One business case for both sides of the deal
Complex B2B software deals often begin with a champion who sees the value but still has to persuade finance, procurement and senior management. Symbe turns that internal argument into a structured workspace. Its platform brings assumptions, costs, expected outcomes, evidence and value tracking into one business case that a seller and prospect can edit together.
The product sits between sales enablement and value engineering. A revenue team can standardise how representatives quantify benefits without forcing every deal into a fixed calculator. Buyers can challenge inputs, add their own context and see how the proposed return changes. That collaboration matters because a polished vendor presentation is less useful than a model the customer trusts enough to circulate internally.
Value tracking extends the relationship after signature
Symbe also links the promised case to value realisation after a deal closes. That gives a vendor a way to revisit the assumptions used in the sale, show whether outcomes are appearing and identify gaps before renewal. For customers, the same record can become an accountability tool rather than disappearing once procurement approves the contract.
The commercial test is whether sellers can introduce that discipline without slowing an already long buying process. Symbe needs enough governance for finance teams to trust the numbers, but a light enough workflow for sales representatives and prospects to keep it current. The Seed capital gives the company room to deepen the product and expand adoption around a repeatable category: software that makes the economic case part of the deal itself.
