€9m · Series A · Proptech · Münster, Germany
Münster-based syte, which uses AI to analyse development potential for real estate, has raised €9m in Series A funding. The company said investors included companies of the Schwarz Group, NRW.BANK, vent.io, amberra, Vantage Value and High-Tech Gründerfonds. The capital will expand the platform and support growth in Germany and other European markets.
Feasibility data moves earlier in the property workflow
Evaluating a site requires planners and developers to combine parcel data, planning rules and physical constraints before they know what can be built. syte brings that analysis into an early digital workflow, helping users compare scenarios before committing to detailed design. The value is not another property listing; it is reducing uncertainty before expensive professional work begins.
That creates a distribution advantage if the platform becomes a shared starting point for acquisitions, development and financing teams. Each party needs a consistent view of a site's potential, but they may apply different assumptions. syte can become sticky by making those assumptions visible and reusable, while its European expansion will test how efficiently it can adapt the underlying data and rules to new planning regimes.
