We did not set out to organise another conference.
Europe has no shortage of those — well-produced, well-attended, and often forgettable. Too many optimise for scale over substance, and for visibility over honesty. The outcome is predictable: crowded rooms, polite conversations and very little that actually moves anything forward.
What we wanted instead was something simpler and rarer.
A room that actually matters.
The EUVC Summit & Awards Show 2026 is our attempt to build it.
It is deliberately small. Because beyond a certain size, you lose what makes these gatherings valuable in the first place: candour, access and the kind of conversations that don’t happen on stage, but around it.
So we designed the day accordingly.
The agenda is tight and intentional. Short talks, no filler and people speaking from experience rather than theory. Dave Bailey of Founder Coach opens on making the unscalable scalable. IQM’s Jan Goetz explains what it takes to build a quantum unicorn from Europe.
Murvah Iqbal shares how HIVED scaled from a flat to 6.5 million parcels. Christian Roehle of KfW Capital reflects on deploying €2.9 billion into venture. In between, operators, LPs and partners unpack everything from AI-native teams to liquidity, pensions and Europe’s next industrial wave.
Alongside this, the EUVC Awards recognise the people quietly shaping the ecosystem, from emerging managers to category-defining firms and standout exits.
But the speakers are only part of it.
What matters most is who else is in the room.
A concentrated group of investors, LPs, founders and policymakers who are actively shaping outcomes, not observing them. The kind of density where a single conversation can reframe how you think about a market, a fund or a decision you are about to make.
That is the point of the day.
We are not optimising for attendance. We are optimising for quality. And that means keeping it tightly curated.
