$18m · Series A · Acoustic simulation · Reykjavík, Iceland
Treble Technologies, the Icelandic developer of acoustic simulation and synthetic audio data, has raised $18m in Series A-2 funding led by Paladin Capital Group. Existing investors KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures and the European Innovation Council Fund also participated. The company says the financing will expand its platform and US presence as it serves developers of audio-enabled devices and physical AI systems.
Series A is the funding-feed category; the company identifies this specific financing as Series A-2. The amount shown is the announced US-dollar round, not an exchange-rate conversion or cumulative funding total.
A test budget that reaches more acoustic conditions
Treble lets audio developers vary acoustic conditions in software instead of arranging a new recording session for every room, noise source or device position. This can lower the marginal cost of exploring those combinations. That can make a broader test programme affordable within the same product-development budget, rather than simply producing more training data.
The value depends on whether simulated results predict what the finished device will do. Amazon and Logitech describe using Treble’s environments in product development, providing concrete customer context for that proposition. Expansion into moving devices raises the importance of this link: a larger virtual test set earns its place only when it exposes failures that matter outside the simulation.

Why physical AI needs reality-grade 3D data · EUVC conversation with Franz Tschimben of ALLSIDES and Michael Brehm and Ben Scheidt of Redstone · 26 August 2026. ALLSIDES produces detailed representations of real objects, while Treble simulates acoustic environments. The conversation provides a useful comparison of the cost and fidelity of physical-AI inputs, not evidence about Treble’s performance.
